Lately, I have been thinking on this question: how many signatures does a man truly need? It seems simple enough when you need only one to represent you in your daily life. Now, think of artists, writers or actors with alias, however, and things might just have gotten a little bit more complicate.
Still, that hasn't been quite as woeful as trying to decide in which language should you sign your name because your mother's language own a different set of characters entirely. Although, I was told that a good practice was these.
First, sign your name in your own language when you are dealing with your own country's documents.

First, sign your name in your own language when you are dealing with your own country's documents.
Second, sign your name in English language when you are dealing with foreign's documents.
Third, your signature should always be readable.
Y'know, I have always signed my own name in English here and elsewhere and to be perfectly truthful, it looks more like a little fish than a name. Perhaps, it is time I reconsider how I wish myself represented?
